Ok, so ive moved to www.JesseLownArt.com
Site looks similar with some new additions, namely galleries. Eventually ill just redirect this address to the new one, but that might take a day or so. In the meanwhile… see you there.

I just found out that this is very true. Reminds me of this painting i did back in the 90′s (yes, i’ve been painting devils that long).

‘Robot Offers Devil A Solution For His Girl Troubles’
Or so it seems. These have been popular pieces. I had one of a bullfight, and a wanted poster offering $5 for smurfs. Maybe i should give them a second look…

The show went really well, and i handed out a nearly a bazillion cards. If anyone i spoke with is wondering about prints, FEAR NOT! Im on it. Need another week or so. Im also putting in a proper gallery.

‘Mystic Cow & Friends’
There’s this Chinese story called Journey To The West (Xi You Ji). It’s Star Wars meets Alice In Wonderland but with a monkey as the main character. I have no idea why this painting reminds me of it.

‘Devil Riding Bike’
Someone told me that in a show, you should run with themes. Im not sure how many things riding bikes i need for it to qualify as a theme…

‘Alien Riding Bike’

‘Poncho & His Trusty Sidekick’
I may rename this one ‘Poncho the Bandit and Robot’. Actually yeah, i like that better. See, this is why you should pencil in the name of your paintings.

This is turning out to be a common theme in preparing for the Outdoor Art show. This and robots. And aliens. Man, i need a new shtick.

‘Devil and Eggs’
Ive been really lazy lately. Rather than paint from scratch, ive been painting on photos. ‘Devil and Eggs’ was originally me eating eggs, in Chicago. ‘Devil and Eggs in Chicago’ seemed to wordy.

The show is July 10, 11 & 12th at Nathan Phillips Square. Ill be set up where that little flower person is on the map. If you want more info, check out the website: www.torontooutdoorart.org
Over the next month or so ill post some of the crap ill be trying to sell there. Im reaching for all new levels of randomness.
